Another reason to wait for Windows7 and just leapfrog Vista entirely. It is only an issue with dual boot systems though and most people who actually dual boot Linux and an M$ OS should be able to research a workaround. Still, rather sad imo and stuff like this is why M$ 'removed' it from Vista in the first place....or so they said.
